Todd McNeel Jr. is celebrated as an award-winning marketer, strategist, and accomplished professional across multiple creative domains including opera, theatre, visual arts, publishing, event planning, and travel and leisure. Recently, he served as the Marketing and Tourism Manager at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston (MFA), overseeing pivotal areas such as advertising, media planning, community outreach, tourism, and audience development initiatives. Prior to this, Todd's extensive background spanned marketing, advertising, project management, and public relations, with notable positions at esteemed institutions including the Boston Lyric Opera, Boston, Philadelphia, and Atlanta Magazines, the Longy School of Music of Bard College, Central Square Theatre, and Emerson College.

Devoted to education and fostering meaningful discussions, Todd has shared his expertise as a guest lecturer at Emerson College, the Boston Arts Academy, and for the Newton Public Schools. He has also contributed his voice as a speaker and moderator on panels at institutions including the Museum of Fine Arts, the Boston Public Library, Harvard University, ArtsBoston, SpeakEasy Stage Company, the Pao Arts Center, and the Friends of Fort Point Channel. With pride, he maintains his membership in Phi Mu Alpha, the oldest and largest national fraternal society in music. Furthermore, Todd takes an active role as a Season Advisory Council member for The Boston Children’s Chorus.

Beyond his professional engagements, Todd's artistic flair takes center stage. He actively participates in performances with regional opera and theater companies across the nation. His exceptional talents have garnered recognition, including the prestigious Emerging Talent Award from the Kurt Weill - Lotte Lenya Competition. In addition, Theatre Mirror has applauded his "commanding stage presence" and "resonant, powerful voice." Todd's performance portfolio includes notable solo engagements, such as his featured role in Boston Lyric Opera's Pulitzer Prize-winning opera "Omar." His abilities have also led to appearances alongside the Boston Pops at renowned venues like Boston Symphony Hall and the Tanglewood Music Festival. Additionally, Todd has taken part in nationwide tours with the American Spiritual Ensemble.

Academically, Todd earned an undergraduate degree in Mass and Speech Communications from Ouachita Baptist University. He advanced his education with a graduate degree in Communications Management from Emerson College. His passion for the arts guided him to the Longy School of Music for studies in opera performance. Adding to his accolades, Todd holds a post-master's certificate in Arts and Culture Organization Management from the American Repertory Theater (A.R.T) at Harvard University. Though based in Boston, Todd upholds a profound connection to his Southern and Texan heritage, an integral part of his identity.
